Rent a Car

The Decree-Law 207/2015 of 24 September, introduced the first amendment to the Rent a Car legal regime.

We highlight the three main amendments:

-        The authorisation request may now be submitted before the acquisition of the minimum number of vehicles mandatory by law;

-        Issue of an identification document for the use of the vehicle outside the scope of a rental agreement;

-        Possibility to charge for the refueling of the vehicle whenever the client return the vehicle with a lower fuel level.
