REIMBURSEMENT OF CONTRIBUTIONS TO SOCIAL SECURITY – HIRING OF UNEMPLOYED AGED OVER 45 YEARS OLD

Order number 3-A/2013 was published on 4 January 2013, and regulates the conditions by which employers may obtain the reimbursement of social security contributions paid within employment contracts concluded with unemployed aged over 45 years old.

According to this Order each employer may receive a reimbursement of a maximum of € 200 per month for each employee, with a limit of twenty employees and a maximum of eighteen months, provided that several mandatory requirements are met by employer and employee.

The Order also establishes the requirements for the employment contracts, the proceedings to obtain the approval of the method of the reimbursement.

The Order shall enter into force on 4 February 2013.
