Decree-Law nº 109-E/2021, of 9 December, which establishes the General Regime for the Prevention of Corruption (GRPC), was published in the Portuguese Official Gazette, introducing several new legal obligations applicable to entities with more than 50 employees.

This new legal regime takes effect on 7 June 2022 and regulates the regulatory compliance programs that the subject entities must adopt and implement, including plans to prevent risks of corruption and related infractions, codes of conduct, training programs and communication channels. denunciation, among other legal obligations.
