URBAN PLANNING

06/06/2014

On June 29, 2014, enters into force the new Law on general grounds of public policy on soils, territorial planning and urban planning.

We highlight some aspects of the new Law:

  • Soil classification - it is classified as urban soils the land considered essential for urban development and building, wholly or partially build and equipped with infrastructures. All the other soils are classified as rustic.
  • Forced sales of urban buildings whose owners do not comply with the mandatory duties. The buildings in ruins or with no habitable conditions are also included.
  • New land management policy
  • New mechanisms for adjustment of urban operations.

AMM have a specialized team in Urban Planning available to provide the required clarifications and legal assistance.
