On August 14, 2014 enters into the force the new Industrial Licensing Regulation applicable in Mozambique. 

The Regulation lays down the conditions and procedures for the licensing and exercise of industrial activities. It applies to all Industrial Establishments that develop an activity foreseen in the Classification of Economic Activities list in force. 

The new Regulation also defines the installation process and exercise of industrial activities, the transmission, termination and suspension of the activity, sets the applicable rates and foresee the sanction regime.
